Your expertise in various scaffolding systems – including system scaffolding (e.g., Layher, Ringlock) and tube and clamp scaffolding – is vital for providing secure and compliant access solutions for turnarounds, new construction, and ongoing operations.

  • Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret complex scaffolding blueprints, erection procedures, and schematics to determine exact requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company, client, and provincial (Alberta OHS) safety policies and procedures, including fall protection, confined space, and hot work protocols.
  • Inspections: Conduct pre-use inspections of scaffolding components and erected structures to identify defects and ensure integrity and safety.
  • Hazard Identification: Proactively identify potential hazards related to scaffolding work and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Working at Heights: Perform duties safely at elevated heights, utilizing required fall protection equipment and following established safe work procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a crew, communicating clearly with fellow scaffolders, supervisors, and other trades.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspection of scaffolding tools and equipment.
