- Inspection & Verification: Conduct comprehensive inspections of materials, welding, fabrication, construction, and installation activities at various stages (e.g., pre-fabrication, in-process, final) to ensure strict adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, codes (e.g., ASME, CSA, API), and project requirements.
- Code & Standard Application: Interpret and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and client specifications (e.g., CSA W178.2, ASME B31.1, B31.3, API 650/653, API 1104, NACE) to all inspection activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), deficiency lists, and turnover documentation, ensuring all findings are meticulously recorded and tracked.
- Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Coordination: Coordinate and interpret results from various NDE methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT, VT) performed by certified NDE technicians. May perform visual (VT) inspections.
