Key Responsibilities & Ensuring Operational Excellence

- Calibration & Testing: Perform precision calibration, testing, and adjustment of a wide range of industrial measuring and control instruments, including pressure, flow, temperature, level, analytical, and control valves.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, and microcomputer-based control systems and instruments using advanced testing devices and logical fault-finding techniques.
- Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission new instrumentation and control systems on new or existing plant equipment and processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards (e.g., ISA, CSA).
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs on instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance, extend equipment life, and minimize unplanned downtime.

- Industry Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a certified Instrumentation Technician in a heavy industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, or mining environment. Oil Sands experience is a significant asset.
- Technical Proficiency:
